  • PERSONALISE OPTIONS BELOW

Welcome guests with the timeless charm of the wilderness. Bring a touch of rustic elegance to your doorstep with this beautifully carved, personalised house number sign.

This sign is more than just a name or number — it's a piece of art that tells a story. Featuring a detailed scene of a wandering bear set against a natural backdrop, it perfectly captures the spirit of the Canadian outdoors. We'll deeply carve your house number and street name into solid wood with visible natural grain, blending your home's identity with the untamed beauty of nature.

Perfect for any cabin, lodge, ranch, or home that values traditional craftsmanship, this sign offers a warm and distinguished welcome.

Choose Your Wood

  • Knotty Pine — Our classic choice. Warm, characterful grain with natural knots that give each sign its own personality. Each sign is stained on all sides — front, back and edges — then finished with an exterior clear coat on every surface, making it fully weatherproof and built for years outdoors.
  • North American Ash (+$120) — A premium hardwood upgrade. Ash is significantly denser than pine, producing crisper carve detail and a finer, more refined grain. Its density also means longer machining time and higher shipping weight — but the result is an exceptionally solid sign with a more formal, refined look. Like Knotty Pine, it receives the same full stain and exterior clear coat treatment on all sides.

Shipping & Returns

I’ll send your design proof by email within 72 hours of receiving your order. Production begins after you approve it. Most signs ship within 2–3 weeks of approval; larger orders and busy periods may take longer.

All orders are sent using a tracked service. Delivery dates provided by the carrier are estimates and may be affected by customs or other delays beyond my control. Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.

If your order arrives damaged or you have another concern, contact me within 14 days of delivery. Returns must reach me within 30 days of delivery and be in new condition, unless the item arrived damaged.

Dimensions

Sign sizes are shown in the product options above. I work in millimetres in the workshop for accuracy; inch measurements are the closest approximate equivalents.

Care Instructions

All signs are finished with exterior-grade paint and a clear coat on the front and edges. If your sign will be displayed outdoors, choose North American ash and ask me to paint the back as well.

Wipe the sign with a damp cloth and clean up spills promptly. Avoid extreme changes in temperature or humidity, as solid wood can move naturally over time. Some fading and weathering should be expected when any painted wood product is exposed to sunlight and the elements.
