Start with the run, place, or memory that matters.

Your Words. Your Mountain. Carved in Solid Canadian Timber.

Some things deserve to be permanent. The name of your chalet. A quote that gets you out of bed on a powder morning. The elevation of your favourite summit. The phrase your family says every time you pull into the driveway.

Your words, your message — precision CNC-carved into solid Canadian timber and hand-finished in our Monashee mountain workshop.

Need some inspiration? Here's what our customers carve:

  • "The mountains are calling and I must go"
  • "Après all day"
  • "Elevation: 6,200 ft"
  • "Summit or nothing"
  • "This is our happy place"
  • "Established 1987 — The Thomson Cabin"
  • "No wifi. Better signal."
  • "Good vibes only. Powder days preferred."

Et en français :

  • "La montagne, c'est la vie"
  • "Notre refuge"
  • "Ici, on ski"
  • "Le chalet des rêves"
  • "Famille Tremblay, depuis 1994"
  • "Bienvenue chez nous"
  • "Sommet ou rien"

Choose your text in English, French, or any language — we carve it all.

How It Works:

  1. Choose Your Size: From a small plaque to a bold statement piece, select the dimensions that suit your space
  2. Select Your Wood & Finish: Knotty Pine for rustic warmth, Canadian Maple or North American Ash for a cleaner, more refined look
  3. Pick Your Painted Colour: Choose from a range of painted finishes or keep the natural wood grain
  4. Leave Your Message: Up to four lines of text — entered at checkout within our signature formats

After purchase, we'll send you a digital proof for approval before we carve a single millimetre. Your sign won't go into production until you're happy with it.

Perfect For:

  • Naming your cabin, chalet, or mountain retreat
  • Commemorating a summit, a special trip, or a milestone
  • Displaying a favourite quote in French or English
  • Alpine-themed businesses, lodges, and event spaces
  • A truly one-of-a-kind gift for the mountain lover in your life

Shipping & Returns

I’ll send your design proof by email within 72 hours of receiving your order. Production begins after you approve it. Most signs ship within 1–2 weeks of approval; larger orders and busy periods may take longer.

All orders are sent using a tracked service. Delivery dates provided by the carrier are estimates and may be affected by customs or other delays beyond my control. Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.

If your order arrives damaged or you have another concern, contact me within 14 days of delivery. Returns must reach me within 30 days of delivery and be in new condition, unless the item arrived damaged.

Dimensions

Sign sizes are shown in the product options above. I work in millimetres in the workshop for accuracy; inch measurements are the closest approximate equivalents.

Care Instructions

All signs are finished with exterior-grade paint and a clear coat on the front and edges. If your sign will be displayed outdoors, choose North American ash and ask me to paint the back as well.

Wipe the sign with a damp cloth and clean up spills promptly. Avoid extreme changes in temperature or humidity, as solid wood can move naturally over time. Some fading and weathering should be expected when any painted wood product is exposed to sunlight and the elements.
