The Passo dello Stelvio is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps and one of the most iconic climbs in cycling. Rising from Prato allo Stelvio in the valley below, the road winds through 48 numbered switchbacks — visible all at once from the right vantage point, stacked impossibly above each other against the bare rock face. First opened in 1825, it has featured in the Giro d’Italia multiple times and is considered a pilgrimage for any serious road cyclist.
For those arriving by sports car or motorbike, the Stelvio is regularly listed among the greatest driving roads in Europe — a series of perfectly engineered bends through dramatic Alpine scenery. Unless, like us, you find yourself following an Italian garbage truck in the fog. The mountain doesn’t always perform on demand.

- If your order arrives damaged then we will send a replacement provided you notify us within 14 days of receipt. Please note that the natural character traits of wood are not considered damage ... these are wood signs after all. We suggest the maple option if you prefer less in terms of "character".
- Any non-personalized products can be returned within 30 days for a refund, however you will need to pay for shipping if for any reason other than damage or wrong product and they must arrive back in the original condition.
