**How We Make Your Personalised Ski Trail Sign(s)**  

1. Choose your wood: knotty pine, maple, or North American ash (for outdoor use).  
2. Select the orientation (ie. portrait or landscape) & main background colour (black, blue, green, red, orange).
3. Provide your desired text in the personalisation box — include any symbols or icons like arrows, chairlifts, drinks icons, or fun graphics.  
3. We’ll send you a digital proof for approval — double-check the spelling, capitalization, and details, as we’ll copy exactly what you send us!  
4. Once approved, your custom sign is crafted and shipped within 3-5 days. (Volume orders may take slightly longer; just ask us for an estimate!)

**Please Note:**  
- Type your text exactly as you want it to appear — including capitalization and punctuation. We’re not responsible for typos or errors, so double-check before approving your proof.  
- Wood has natural variations, knots, and character — that’s part of its charm! If you prefer a more uniform look, consider maple or cedar (outdoor-friendly).  
- For outdoor signs, ash is a great choice, naturally resistant to rot and pests.

**Materials**
- Knotty pine: rustic, with natural knots and random darker grain sections.  
- Clear pine: same species as the knotty pine without the knots or grain variation
- Maple: smooth, dense, and more uniform, great for a cleaner look.  
- North American Ash: similar to white oak in grain and tone, it cuts precisely similar to maple but is also the best option for outdoor use if that's a concern.

PLEASE REMEMBER these are not intended to replicate metal or plastic signs as they will contain some degree of natural character.

WALL MOUNTING
For indoors use our signs are intended to be mounted on the wall or a door or some other vertical flat surface. The standard sized signs are light enough that command strips or similar will work and do not leave a mark. As of Sep 2025 we will preinstall 3D printed hangers with all our signs unless requested otherwise not to when ordering. These are the type of hardware that slip over 2 screws on the surface so that the sign does not protrude more than about 1/8" from the wall.
