An hour from Seattle. A lifetime of winter memories.

Snoqualmie Pass sits at 921 metres in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, straddling Interstate 90 an hour east of Seattle. It is the closest ski area to one of the fastest-growing cities in North America, and for generations of Seattle families it has been the place where winter happens — the first chairlift, the first powder day, the first time the mountains felt like home.

This print captures that feeling exactly — a parent and child making their way down a wide groomed run, the Cascade forest pressing in on both sides, the lodge lights warm in the valley below, I-90 threading through the pass, and the Stuart Range breaking through the clouds on the horizon. Painted in the soft, overcast light of a Pacific Northwest winter day. Quiet, honest, and unmistakably home.
