The Gavia doesn't care about your legs.

At 2,621 metres, the Passo del Gavia is one of the most brutal climbs in the Giro d'Italia — not because of its length, but because of what it throws at you. Narrow roads barely wide enough for a car, sheer drops with no barriers, patches of snow well into June, and weather that can turn from warm to blizzard in an hour. The 1988 Giro stage over the Gavia in a snowstorm — won by Andy Hampsten, who descended half-frozen in a cotton jersey — is one of the most legendary days in professional cycling. The lake at the top sits in silence. The mountain earns its reputation every time.

This premium framed print captures the raw drama of the Gavia in the vintage travel poster style of the Advent Grand Tour Series. Printed on museum-quality paper and finished in a natural oak or black ash frame, every piece arrives ready to hang and built to last.
