At 2,642 metres, the Col du Galibier is one of the highest and most revered climbs in professional cycling. It sits above the Col du Télégraphe, which riders must first ascend before tackling the Galibier itself — making the combined effort one of the most demanding days in the Tour de France. At the summit stands the memorial to Henri Desgrange, the man who founded the Tour in 1903 and first sent riders over this pass in 1911. They hated him for it. The views across the French Alps — La Meije, the Écrins massif, the road disappearing in both directions — are among the finest from any road in Europe.

- If your order arrives damaged then we will send a replacement provided you notify us within 14 days of receipt. Please note that the natural character traits of wood are not considered damage ... these are wood signs after all. We suggest the maple option if you prefer less in terms of "character".
- Any non-personalized products can be returned within 30 days for a refund, however you will need to pay for shipping if for any reason other than damage or wrong product and they must arrive back in the original condition.
