Alpe d’Huez needs no introduction to anyone who has watched the Tour de France. The 21 numbered hairpins rising from Bourg-d’Oisans to the ski village above are among the most recognisable roads in sport. Each bend is named after a Tour stage winner — Fausto Coppi, Bernard Hinault, Marco Pantani, Lance Armstrong — a roll call of cycling’s greatest names carved into the mountain itself. First used in the Tour in 1952, it has since become the climb that crowds flock to weeks in advance, camping on the roadside to watch the peloton pass in a blur of noise and colour. To ride it yourself, on a quiet morning before the tourists arrive, is something else entirely.

- If your order arrives damaged then we will send a replacement provided you notify us within 14 days of receipt. Please note that the natural character traits of wood are not considered damage ... these are wood signs after all. We suggest the maple option if you prefer less in terms of "character".
- Any non-personalized products can be returned within 30 days for a refund, however you will need to pay for shipping if for any reason other than damage or wrong product and they must arrive back in the original condition.
