Your Story
A favourite day beneath the Matterhorn, a family ski trip you still talk about, or a destination waiting on your bucket list. This personalised Zermatt sign celebrates the mountain memories you keep and the ones still to come.
Inspired by my Zermatt framed art print, this carved sign brings the Matterhorn and red-suited skier into wood, with natural grain, navy carved details and white lettering. Your own inscription sits beneath the scene.
How to Order
Choose your size and enter your personalisation when you order. I'll prepare a design proof for your approval before carving.
Personalisation Options
Add a family name, a trip date or a short message in the lower inscription band. Your words have their own space beneath the scene, keeping the mountain artwork clear.
The family name and Christmas date shown in the images are examples of personalisation.
Sizing
- 10 × 15 inches: 25.4 × 38.1 cm
- 16 × 24 inches: 40.64 × 60.96 cm
Both sizes are portrait format, with the width listed first. The product renders show the 16 × 24 inch size.
How It's Made
Every sign is CNC carved from solid wood in my solar-powered workshop in British Columbia. The design is carved into the wood itself—not printed on the surface—before each sign is sanded, painted and finished by hand.
The finish shown combines a natural wood mountain, foreground and border with navy recessed areas, a red skier, and white lettering and helmet. Natural grain and colour vary from one piece of timber to another.

Every sign is CNC-carved and hand-finished by me in my solar-powered workshop in the Monashees, using solid North American timber.
For Canadian customers, signs ship from British Columbia with no customs fees or duties. Shipping within Canada is free on orders over $100 CAD.

I’ll send your design proof by email within 72 hours of receiving your order. Production begins after you approve it. Most signs ship within 2–3 weeks of approval; larger orders and busy periods may take longer.
All orders are sent using a tracked service. Delivery dates provided by the carrier are estimates and may be affected by customs or other delays beyond my control. Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.
If your order arrives damaged or you have another concern, contact me within 14 days of delivery. Returns must reach me within 30 days of delivery and be in new condition, unless the item arrived damaged.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
All signs are finished with exterior-grade paint and a clear coat on the front and edges. If your sign will be displayed outdoors, choose North American ash and ask me to paint the back as well.
Wipe the sign with a damp cloth and clean up spills promptly. Avoid extreme changes in temperature or humidity, as solid wood can move naturally over time. Some fading and weathering should be expected when any painted wood product is exposed to sunlight and the elements.
