How to Order
How It's Made
Every sign is CNC carved from solid wood in my solar-powered workshop in British Columbia. The design is carved into the wood itself — not printed on the surface — before each sign is sanded, painted and finished by hand.
Wood Options

Best for indoor use. Rustic character with prominent knots and warm grain. Softer wood carves more easily but less precisely for fine details. |

Can be used outdoors. Durable hardwood with beautiful grain, weather-resistant when sealed. Very few knots. Dense wood so carves precisely. |
| North American Eastern Maple |  |
Best for indoor use. Smooth, clean appearance with very few knots. Dense wood so carves precisely. |
| Knotty Alder |  |
Best for indoor use. Warm, sandy tone with subtle grain and occasional small knots. Medium-density wood that carves cleanly with good detail. Only available in narrower 4–5" boards; larger signs require laminated (glued) panels. |

When you approve your design proof, please take a moment to double-check that the spelling and details are exactly as you want them. I'll carve exactly what's on the approved design.

Every sign is CNC-carved and hand-finished by me in my solar-powered workshop in the Monashees, using solid North American timber.
For Canadian customers, signs ship from British Columbia with no customs fees or duties. Shipping within Canada is free on orders over $85 CAD.

I’ll send your design proof by email within 72 hours of receiving your order. Production begins after you approve it. Most signs ship within 1–2 weeks of approval; larger orders and busy periods may take longer.
All orders are sent using a tracked service. Delivery dates provided by the carrier are estimates and may be affected by customs or other delays beyond my control. Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.
If your order arrives damaged or you have another concern, contact me within 14 days of delivery. Returns must reach me within 30 days of delivery and be in new condition, unless the item arrived damaged.

Sign sizes are shown in the product options above. I work in millimetres in the workshop for accuracy; inch measurements are the closest approximate equivalents.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
All signs are finished with exterior-grade paint and a clear coat on the front and edges. If your sign will be displayed outdoors, choose North American ash and ask me to paint the back as well.
Wipe the sign with a damp cloth and clean up spills promptly. Avoid extreme changes in temperature or humidity, as solid wood can move naturally over time. Some fading and weathering should be expected when any painted wood product is exposed to sunlight and the elements.
